Refund & Return Policy

At DTF Transfer US, many of our products are custom-made and produced specifically for each customer order. Please review the policy below before placing an order.

1. Custom Orders / No Cancellation After Production

All custom printed products, including DTF transfers, UV DTF transfers, gang sheets, custom apparel, and personalized items, are made to order using the artwork and options selected by the customer.

Because custom products are created specifically for each order, orders cannot be canceled, changed, refunded, or returned once any of the following has occurred:

  • Production has started
  • The item has been printed
  • The order has been marked ready
  • A pickup notification has been sent
  • A shipping label has been created or the order has shipped

2. Customer Artwork Responsibility

We print using the exact files, artwork, text, colors, and sizing submitted by the customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing all uploaded files and order details before checkout.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Image resolution / DPI
  • Spelling and grammar
  • Sizing selected
  • Transparency / background issues
  • Color variations from screen to print
  • Design placement or layout selected by customer

Issues caused by customer-submitted artwork or selections are not eligible for refund, free reprint, or chargeback claim.

3. Low-Quality Files

Low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, compressed, or poor-quality images may affect print results. We are not responsible for print quality issues caused by customer-provided files.

4. Pickup Orders

Orders selected for local pickup should be inspected at the time of pickup. Any visible issue, shortage, or concern must be reported immediately before leaving or within 24 hours of pickup notification.

5. Shipping Orders / Damage Claims

If your order arrives damaged or there is a production defect caused by us, you must contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery and provide clear photos of:

  • The product
  • Packaging
  • Shipping label

Claims submitted after this timeframe may be denied.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • All custom-made or personalized products
  • Printed transfers
  • Gang sheets
  • Used items
  • Washed items
  • Heat-pressed / applied items
  • Items returned without approval
  • Items returned after the allowed timeframe

7. Approved Resolutions

If a verified issue is approved by our team, we may choose one of the following resolutions at our sole discretion:

  • Reprint
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, the customer agrees to this policy and acknowledges that custom products are made specifically for their request. Filing a payment dispute for a correctly produced custom order, customer-submitted file issue, or order canceled after production has begun may be challenged with order records, timestamps, production records, pickup/shipping notifications, and communication history.

9. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or events outside our control.

🎨 General Questions
A: DTF (Direct to Film) is a method where designs are printed onto film, powdered, and heat-pressed onto garments. A: It supports full-color designs, works on cotton and polyester, and is ideal for small batches. A: Yes, with proper application, DTF prints are stretch-resistant and long-lasting even after multiple washes. A: Cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and more—as long as they can withstand heat. A: We print custom designs that you upload. You can also choose from our template collection if available.
🖼️ Artwork & File Requirements
A: High-resolution PNG (300 DPI) with transparent background is best. We also accept SVG and PSD. A: You can, but for best results, remove the background or request our team to do it. A: Yes, your design should be at least 1000px on its shortest side for print clarity. A: We do a basic quality check. If there's an issue, we'll contact you before printing. A: Yes, we provide optional design editing services for a small fee.
🛍️ Ordering & Production
A: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. A: Yes, expedited production and shipping are available at checkout. A: Definitely! Contact us for special pricing on bulk or reseller orders. A: Yes, we keep your designs on file for easy reorders (up to 60 days).
🔥 Heat Press Instructions
A: Recommended: 310°F (155°C), press for 10 seconds, instant peel (cold or hot). A: Most DTF transfers are cold peel—wait 15–20 seconds before removing the film. A: Wait at least 24 hours before washing to ensure strong adhesion. A: Medium to firm pressure ensures the best transfer result. A: Check your heat press temperature, pressure, and peel timing. Repressing may help.
